On Tuesday, it was announced that Manchester United has extended the contract of English attacker Marcus Rashford until June 2028.
After making his United debut in 2016, Rashford has gone on to make over 360 appearances for the club. His last contract was slated to expire in 2024. He has scored 123 goals for the club across all competitions, including 30 in the 2022–23 season alone.
When I was seven years old, I followed my heart and signed for Manchester United. The 25-year-old told the club’s website, “Every time I have the honor of wearing the shirt, I am driven by the same passion, pride, and determination to succeed.”
I’ve had a lot of great times here at this magnificent club, but I know I can do much more, and I’m dead set on bringing home more hardware in the years to come.

Rashford was honored as both the team’s and fans’ top performer in 2022–2023.
Marcus has been a model Manchester United player since he first entered the club’s youth program 18 years ago, according to the club’s director of football operations, John Murtough.
